Physical Science – p.223   #1-3, 11-13, 19-20, 28-30.

Biology – 4th period.  Perform a 2 factor cross with the following:
seed shape – round is dominant (R), wrinkled is recessive (r)
pod color – green is dominant (G), yellow is recessive (g)

Identify the genotype and phenotype

Physical Science – all periods.  Finish workbook section 7.3.  Be sure to complete the Venn Diagram at the top of the page.

Biology – Continue to read over the parenting lab and draw your children!

Physical Science: all periods – TicTacToe extra credit was distributed today.  Each project or worksheet will be graded and your percent correct will be multiplied by 5 pts.  So, each assignment with 100% correct is worth 5 points of extra credit applied to your last test score.  If you score 90%, you get 0.90 x 5 = 4.5 points.  You will max out your extra credit if your last test score plus your extra credit adds up to 105.

Biology – test tomorrow.  Mind maps due tomorrow.  The mind maps are worth 10 points of extra credit.

Physical Science – period 1 and 2 – complete moles worksheet
period 5 and 6 – complete balancing equations worksheet

Biology – Write about each stage of mitosis and cytokinesis.  Tell me what is happening in the cell for each stage.  Draw a picture of each stage
BIOLOGY EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY – Complete a mind map (a graphic organizer with no words) of the cell cycle to add 10 points to your last test grade
BIOLOGY EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY – Watch the Ironman broadcast on NBC on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.  Record anything that is science related (physics, biology, chemistry, earth science, or physical science)

Physical Science – All periods – Complete moles worksheet.

Biology – no homework.  We’ll finish our discussion on Mitosis tomorrow.  We covered chromosome structure and Interphase of the cell cycle today.
